The C1 is an electric scooter-car from a startup company from San Fransisco, U.S. The company was founded in 2010 and is backed by Larry Page, a co-founder of Google. Since 2016, both Apple and Audi have shown interest in an acquisition but the company continued on its own and in 2023 it announced that the C1 is production ready and that it is accepting orders. The company plans to have sold 100 000 units by 2031.
